S.O.S. Roots is born from the desire to steal from time all the possible crumbs of human identities, in this era that sees shocking epochal changes overlapping and overlapping dramatically in the distortion of generational logic. The anxiety of recovering from the past is not due to chance or even to the desire to grapple with interesting and complex topics. It is part of the global framework of literature at the service of remote and close anamnesis of human cultures and of the linguistic tradition. The footsteps of the past, the only sailing ships that can lead man towards the future, must be removed from indifference and forgetfulness.

The two works that inaugurate this series come on tiptoe, directly from the future of humanity. They bring with them the sincere and direct paraphrase of the times when knowledge passed from one generation to another directly, through dialogue, narration, collaboration and gatherings, in the woods, in the sowing, in the reaping, in the farmyards, next to at the fire or in the pilgrimages of terrestrial wayfarers, with sticks and sandals; they transfer the generational passage of knowledge to the human wayfarers exiled in sidereal space.
